It is undeniable that we live in a digital age, that touches us all directly or indirectly and that is changing our way of being and doing things. This change has also reached the world of travel and led to the birth of a new "tribe" called Flashpackers.

The Flashpackers are a new breed of travelers, whose term is the updated English "backpackers" (backpackers) and are also known as Travelers 2.0, 2nd generation backpackers or luxury backpackers.

If the old backpackers, loaded with guitar and a backpack full of stickers of the countries they had visited, Flashpackers, loaded with a variety of gadgets result of new technologies such as iPood, flash memory or laptop.

These backpackers if global XXI, no longer young (30 years typically have up), are adventurous and fearless and like your air travel to the old style bakpackers, but have more money and need more than one single bunk to sleep.

The hotel market, has echoed the technological needs of travelers and hotels that have already emerged include in their rooms, projectors and giant plasma screens, or for example rooms for Apple lovers. But certainly the trend of these travelers is to stay on the premises known as "tecnohostales".

Until recently it was customary to relate the word hostel with a dirty and infested with cockroaches, but this new trend, is full of holiday as "cool", fully equipped as far as technology is concerned, and also in these establishments, is not necessary to sleep in a bunk in a shared room, because: "Cheap is not necessarily at odds with the class."

And you, what's in your rucksack.

Do you consider yourself a Flashpacker?.
