Japan is a country full of traditions, with an ancient culture in which the HONOR, obligations and duties are extremely important in interpersonal relationships, but in the country of the rising sun, tradition and modernity go hand hopelessly.
Tokyo, a city of ancient temples, is also a city of skyscrapers, urban tribes, high technology and huge streets full of colorful lights.
In the complicated society Nippon, hundreds of teenagers and young adults are unable to meet the social roles expected of them and react by locking themselves in their rooms for long periods.
This disease is known as the syndrome of "Hikikomori" which in Castilian means isolation and suffering people who often feel sad, lose friends and become shy and insecure.
So no wonder the last extravagance of the Japanese: They are the "Cat Cafes" or "cat cafes". (more ...)
