Valentine's Day is approaching and one of the quintessential romantic destinations to get away from the city of Verona.

Verona is famous for being the city that Shakespeare chose for his work and has earned the distinction of City of Romeo and Juliet, two young lovers who, despite opposition from their families, rivals among themselves, decided to fight for his love marrying in secret, but the pressure exerted by families and fatal circumstances lead to suicide two lovers.

For this and other reasons, the city attracts many lovers, but Verona has many attractions such as impressive and well preserved historical and architectural heritage.

The sites that are related to the life of Juliet, as his tomb or his family home, attract millions of couples each year. Inside the House of Juliet, even though there is no evidence that the Capulets lived there, there is a bronze statue which according to legend, we must touch the left breast if we get lucky in love. Whether you believe the story or not, the place worth visiting for its architecture, the frescoes on the work and the biography of Shakespeare.

Romantic Getaway in the hotel "La Residence" of Deia (Mallorca).

The Hotel La Residencia, one of the most emblematic hotels in Majorca, is situated in the picturesque village of Deia, Mallorca north, chosen as a residence by numerous artists, including Robert Graves, the famous author of "I Claudius" and in which small cemetery, considered one of the best views with the world, is buried.
Deià also presumed to be the people with more art galleries per capita.

The hotel is located on a farm of 12 acres of olive, orange and lemon trees, in front of beautiful cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and was created from 2 mansions (Son Moragues and Son Canals) built in the sixteenth and seventeenth .

It was owned by Richard Branson (Virgin company owner) until 2003, and currently owned by Orient-Express Hotels LTD. (more ...)
