Unusual hotels. Staying on top of a tree
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
For some time it is possible in some parts of the world stay in wooden huts built on trees, but Britta and Kent Lindvall wanted to be a little more innovative and have settled in the woods of Lapland (Finland) some curious ideal accommodation for adventurers who do not suffer from vertigo and dream of spending a few days in contact with nature.
The simple and colorful rooms are actually aluminum boxes that seem almost suspended in the air and that can only be accessed via a rope ladders for not everyone is able to climb.
Another of the peculiarities of the place is that the outside of the rooms has been completely covered with mirrors, making the tops of the trees are reflected in them and cause the carrier pass completely unnoticed.
This way they have achieved the least possible impact to the environment and preserve the harmony and beauty.
