The Intangible Cultural Heritage UNESCO considers the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge and skills that communities, groups and in some cases individuals are passed from one generation to another.
The Committee has agreed to list 76 new entries, including Tango, presented by Argentina and Uruguay in a joint bid. Among the proposals put forward by Spain, are included in the list Silbo Gomero, the Tribunal de las Aguas de Valencia and the Council of Wise Men of Murcia.
The whistle is whistled language described by Unesco "almost unique in the world" that has survived since pre-through to help cover long distances and the many ravines that abound in the island and always have conditioned communication.
The Water Court and the Council of Wise Men, are ancient courts that develop in the orchards of Valencia and Murcia and are responsible for providing Justice for irrigation communities from the Muslim era and whose rulings are binding.
